A partnership has been concluded between the International Press Centre and the Professional Distance Learning Centre. The agreement signed on the 16th of November, focuses on the training of Communication and Audiovisual professionals.Among the communication jobs covered there are: Communication Management, Press Agency and Media Training. In the Audiovisual field, training will focus on audiovisual techniques, computing, arts, design and audiovisual jobs related to sound recording, shooting and mixing.
The partnership between the CIP and the CNEPD is included in training projects run by the Algerian government in the media industry, said the Minister of Communication, Hamid Grine, at the 16th of November ceremony. The planned courses in this partnership are an answer to a “market need”, especially in the audiovisual sector, such as mixing and sound recording.The Minister for Education and Training, Mohamed Mebraki, insists on the fact that the demand for audiovisual training, is “extremely important” in Algeria, as his ministerial department “can’t manage the answer” on its own.
