For the third consecutive year, the Delegation of the European Union is organizing, at the French Institute of Gabon (IFG), the Africa-Europe Film Festival in partnership with the embassies of Germany, Spain, France, Italy.
From 9 to 12 May 2016, the French Institute of Gabon opened the doors of its theater for the 3rd time at the Africa-Europe Film Festival, an event that allows the promotion of the film union between the two continents.
Under the theme “Education and Human Rights”, the mini festival with six films on the screen: “Meurtre à Pacot” by Raoul Peck; “Copito de nieve” by Andrés G. Schaer; “Il sole dentro” by Paolo Bianchini; “Couleur de peau miel” by Laurent Boileau; “Un prof pas comme les autres” by Bora Degetkin; “Le plan” Saturninus Ayenouet.
In addition to these screenings, the Africa-Europe film festival offers a “Café Philo” on the theme of the edition: “Education and Development: What links?”. And throughout the week an exhibition will feature in the form of photographs the beauty, diversity and dynamism of the European Union and its Member States. Admission to the festival is free.
