For its second season, the Ivorian hit series, ”Ma famille” (My family)’ has been renamed “Ma grande famille” (My big family). The clapboard of its shooting was given on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Heden Golf Hotel in Abidjan.
The production of the series “Ma Famille” Akissi Delta announced that for this second season, “Ma grande famille” should drum up big names in Francophone African cinema, notably from the Ivory Coast, Benin, Burkina Faso, Senegal and Niger. ”Ma famille” will unfold in 156 episodes and will be produced by the Pan-African TV channel A + from the Canal+ Group.
These five (5) countries in Francophone Africa will welcome the crew of ” Ma famille”, whose shooting will take effect from August.
The reasons Akissi Delta explains:
“A film like Ma famille no longer has to be shot only in Ivory Coast but has spread throughout Francophone Africa because we are all Africans, so we must show solidarity. That’s why I wanted the series ”Ma famille ” hot over in francophone Africa.”
However, given the great success of “Ma famille,” she dreads the reception which will be accorded “Ma grande famille.” “I am concerned about the success of this new series. Because it is a project that will bring together some great names of cinema from Francophone Africa. I admit I’m scared and I wonder if I’ll be at the height,” she said, worried.
