The Congolese filmmaker, Fils Ngeleka won the best fiction movie award at the 6th edition of Cin’Etoile Festival with his short film: “Nous sommes le changement” (We are the change).
At the initiative of Professor Jacky Mpungu, lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, Department of Science and Communication from the University of Lubumbashi (UNILU), the festival was held on 18 June and 2 July in Lubumbashi (Upper- Katanga).
The short film by Fils Ngeleka was shot in French and subtitled in English. “This film is summed up in a call for change. In this great change we want to see, there is a part of each of us. Just everyone to make sacrifices where it is, we’ll all precursors,” explained Fils Ngeleka.
He also said to believe in the rebirth of the Congolese cinema.
