The company was present at Discop Africa, the largest audiovisual content market in Africa, which ended this June 2, 2016 in Abidjan. Dailymotion has decided to stay. And the open office has a team dedicated to the development of local partnerships and the detection of new talents of the web. Customers will benefit from more local content. There are already on the platform via The Point Afrique, Jeune Afrique, Trace Africa, Africa 24, Afrik TV, Dim Sum Africa, Africa Film TV, RTI, Afrik Foot, etc.
Dailymotion is the umpteenth entity of the French group Vivendi which is spreading on the African continent. There already is Canal +. The Village Vivendi Project also comes with its halls dedicated to cinema and shows. Behind this great display of the communication group Vivendi, is the businessman Vincent Bolloré (pictured) who is the chairman of the supervisory board.
