Rabat – The 4th edition of Tinghir Film Festival will take place from April 14 to 17 with three competitions (local, national and international) in the programme and the screening of 16 films.
Organized by the Association “Art without borders” in collaboration with the City Council of Tinghir, the films selected for the festival in the national competition, after selection, are “Al Maklama Almalghouma” by Hafid Salah Nadim and Bouzekraoui, “The fruit of failure “by Sidi Mohamed Belghali,” Chapter ” by Sanae Kherdani,” Man ” by Adil Machkour and “Wheelchair” by Lahcen Nayt Bohou, the organizers said in a statement.
The films which were selected in the local competition are: “Fever” by Zouhair El Harti, “Tafournout” by Fatima Tounanourt El Haouzi and that of “Timna” by Badie Abderrahmane, while those who were selected in international competition include “Sonar” by Mohamed Salem (Egypt), “Jawan” by Ali Al Jabri (Iraq), “My Father” by Mohamed Adil Abdeladim (France), “Identity” by Hanae Saleh El Fassi (Saudi Arabia) and “If, society ” by Mustapha El Mliji (Egypt).
The jury consists of actress Fatima Atif (Chair), researcher and critic Mounir Waskoum and academician Moulay Ahmed Slimani.
In this edition, the films that will compete in the official competition will win three festival awards (Grand Prize of Tinghir, the Best Director and Best Screenplay).
